The Dolomites in bloom

Discover and explore the Dolomites during the bloom, a unique spectacle not to be missed: walk among alpine meadows covered by flowers, enjoying the thousand colors and scents that nature gives you in the midst of a breathtaking mountain landscape.

Hike through a lunar landscape

A difficult level hike (about 7 hours) that repays the effort with unique and suggestive landscapes: it will seem like walking on the lunar surface.

Here is the exit schedule:

From the top station of the cable car Dantercepies we hike to the refuge Jimmy and then steep up to the Forcella Cir.

Afterwards we cross the upper part of Val Chedul and walk to the Passo Crespëina.

We continue past the Lake of Crespëina and, after an up- and downhill stretch, we reach the Refuge Puez.

After lunch break we descent into Vallunga and then cover the last part of the hike to Selva Gardena.

Visit to the Gherdëina museum

Inaugurated in 1960, based in the “Cësa di Ladins”, the Val Gardena Museum in Ortisei is one of the main museums of the Ladin Valleys.

The museum also houses a collection of ancient wooden toys and, since 2004, has displayed the art legacy left by Luis Trenker, an acclaimed local mountaineer, actor and mountain film director.

Valuable items, such as the painted cloth from San Giacomo, which was used to cover the Cross during Lent, and the Sëurasas summit cross are included in the museum’s collection.

A multi-media exhibition shows a late Medieval bedroom from Bierjun farm which features rare red chalk drawings dating back to 1490.

The big “farm map” shows the currently existing sites of rural architecture in Val Gardena.

Val Gardena KIDS Active: the entertainment program for children and teenagers

Summer 2019 promises to be full of fun for children aged 6-12: with the Val Gardena Kids Active daily entertainment program, from June to September (11/06 – 06/09/2019), the children they will learn all about the Dolomites.

For four days a week, young explorers will immerse themselves in an exciting world of experiences.

Children have so many questions and, in the weeks dedicated to them, friendly and affectionate guides, but also dynamic and sporting, will provide them with all the answers, accompanying them step by step.

Going on vacation with your family has never been so fun and relaxing.

Tour of the Sellaronda by MTB

Guided panoramic mountain bike tour of extraordinary beauty around the Sella Group in the Dolomites, UNESCO World Natural Heritage.

Cable car thanks the Dolomite passes Gardena, Campolongo, Sella Pordoijoch can be easily overcome.

Accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable local mountain bike guides you start from Selva Gardena, clockwise or counter-clockwise.

The descents are mostly on technical singletrails and only partly follow the road.
