Ski World Cup in Val Gardena

50th FIS Ski World Cup in Val Gardena

It will again take place in Val Gardena the 50th edition of FIS Ski World Cup, and precisely two main events: men’s Super G and men’s Downhill.
The chosen slope for the competition is Saslong, the classic slope that every year hosts this prestigious event and goes down to S. Cristina. Both races will take place in December: Super G on the 15th and Downhill on the 16th.

Adrenaline will of course be the main character of the whole event, magnified by the importance of this year’s anniversary: 50 years of joy and pride for the entire Val Gardena, which has started the celebrations three months before the races.

This year’s calendar sees two days of training on the 13th and 14th of December at 12:15, followed by the Ski World Cup.
Men’s Super G is scheduled for the 14th, starting with music and games from 11 am and the race at 12:15. After that, at 6 pm there will be the official celebration for the 50th anniversary.
On the 16th, last day of the competition, the event will start at 10:30 with music and games, then at 10:45 the fan clubs will parade through S. Cristina Village. At 12:15 the final race, men’s Downhill, begins, while at 14:30 it’s party time for all.
