Enjoying the magic and beauty of Val Gardena in every season is more than possible. In fact, this region has a lot of treasures to discover and even more activities to do that: from hiking to biking and skiing, Val Gardena has endless possibilities to offer.
Today we want to talk about hiking, and particularly about the most interesting itinerary that can be easily done by the whole family.
We chose 3 different paths:
Monte Pana – Santa Cristina
This new path is characterized by many different adventure stops along the way, that crosses both woods and blooming lawn. Could there be a better place to spend some time with your family?
To start this excursion, in Santa Cristina take the chair lift to Monte Pana. When you reach it, 1636 meters above sea level, continue walking following the directions for the Sporthotel. You will reach an enchanting natural lake surrounded by a wonderful landscape.
Duration: 1 hour
Città dei Sassi
We have already talked about this itinerary in our last blog post about biking. Città dei Sassi (Stone City) is a “city” made up of stones with different sizes. It has a magnificient panorama and can be reached both on foot and by bike.
Duration: 40 minutes
Puez Odle Natural Park
Puez Odle Park has been recognized as UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. To reach the natural park, take the cable car in Selva Val Gardena to Dantercëpies. Arrived there, follow the path until reaching the so called “Jimmy” refuge. Go ahead passing through Val Chedul and its breath-taking lakes and its lunar landscape.
To return to Selva, simply follow Stevia river and it will take you back form where you sarted.
Duration: 5 hours
