Piz Seteur Val Gardena

Innovation and wonder for your 2018 in Val Gardena

Val Gardena, as we always use to say, is an incredible place, capable of attracting thousands of tourists every year.
It’s quite easy to understand the reasons behind its success: Val Gardena knows for sure how to renovate itself every year, allowing its visitors to discover something new everytime they come here.
So, what’s new for 2018?

The new “Piz Seteur” cableway to Passo Sella, between wonder and innovation

Winter in Val Gardena is the perfect compromise between nature’s wonder and innovation technology to satisfy everyone’s needs, from winter sports to just peace and relax.
As always happens, the beauty of nature merges with technology; hence the most interesting news of the new year.

Piz Seteur is the most modern and hi-tech cableway system ever built by Leitner Ropeways, opened in Val Gardena in collaboration with Pininfarina in December 2017, and it represents a new access to Passo Sella, whose skilift belongs to the Dolomiti Superski area and the famous Sellaronda, the most amazing slope in the Dolomites.

With a cutting-edge technology and made in Italy design, the ten-seats cableway introduces every tourist into incredible slopes, surrounded by snow-capped tops, woods and snowy landscapes.

The Sellaronda extends through Val Gardena, Corvara, Arabba and Canazei and it’s a good destination for the most reckless skiers, with medium-high difficulty slopes.

Not only winter: a summer of sustainable mobility

The new cableway at the feet of the Langkofel has also been design for the upcoming summer season: in fact, it’s been included in a sustainable mobility project with the possibility to reach the Plan de Gralba car park even in the days of vehicular traffic stop.

In addition to the Gran Paradiso chair lift, Piz Seteur will let people reach the paths to Passo Sella by foot or mountain bike, and for the summer season there will be also a new bike-park.

Moreove, the project includes an halfway station, whose wide cabins will allow passengers to bring their bikes straight to the top.

Passo Sella will finally be reachable in total comfort, respecting nature and its beauty.
